Objectives

be an agent of design

I am an experienced versatile designer with a knack for being a jack of all trades. I majored in Graphic Design at Art Center College of Design and have a Bachelors in English from the University of San Diego. After finishing school, I began working as a freelance graphic designer specializing in brand identities, presentations, and print production. For me, my creative process—no matter the project—is to dig deep into a niche and research what has already been, how things are done today, and why change is important. The next step is to ideate several iterations of a concept, I usually end up refining the one I find most thrilling. My ultimate mission is to create work that provokes people; work that moves people to think about what they are looking at beyond the literal.

My hobbies are working on my cars and taking analog photos of just about anything, yet I find myself shooting automobiles and car culture. I process, scan and print some of the film I shoot in my home darkroom so I have total control of the process. In the future I'd like to produce quarterly photo books and large format prints.

Experience

Designory, Digital content producer

October 2019 - Present

Over my time at Designory I worked on the following major accounts: Amazon, Sony Interactive Entertainment, 2K Games, LinkedIn, and HP. I was responsible for designing script driven photoshop templates for the global localization of marketing campaign assets. As the lead production artist I had a team of local and international production artists that I coordinated with in the London, Chicago, New York and Mexico City to divide work and hit target deadlines.  Assets primarily consisted of IAB Banners with HTML5 animations and DOOH/OOH components as well as aspect ratio adaptations to bespoke dimensions. We also provided update-revision services on HP’s sell sheets, product catalogs, and internal presentations.

Creative Circle, Freelance Graphic Designer

May 2016 - 2019

As a freelance graphic designer I worked with a variety of local and international companies in the entertainment, marketing, and manufacturing industries. Over my time with them I have worked on marketing collateral, front end website design, style guides, packaging, event sets, vehicle wraps, and countless presentation "decks". Some projects are from concept to production files, others adhering to a strict style guide provided by the client. I've participated in brain storm sessions with agencies, and pitch presentations with their clients.

Publicis Sapient

December 2018 - April 2019

As a Designer at Publicis Sapient, I was responsible for the design and execution of creative concepts for leading edge Marketing and Web solutions. I worked with the guidance of Creative Leads and collaborate with developers, account managers, copywriters and content strategists as a part of the creative process.

TBWA/Chiat/day/mal

November 2018 - December 2018

TBWA/Chiat/Day/MAL

As a designer on the Apple account I provided design and creative support to the agency. Reporting to the creative director and supervising producer, I was required to work on projects in line with client deliverables and agency requirements across print and digital. The role requires working on a wide range of projects, including but not limited to presentations, art working, and campaign related material.
